The Patimban Port Development project is stipulated in Presidential Regulation No.47 the Year 2016 as one of National Strategic Projects. New port which located Subang, West Java Province, 100 km from Jakarta Metropolitan expected to boost up economic growth and help improving logistic efficiency at area where severe congestions often occurred its sole international gateway: Tanjung Priok Port. Among various soft soil treatments adopted project, bamboo pile raft (bamboo cluster 7 piles + mattress) was strengthen foundation for breakwater. use a improvement method coastal revetment breakwater has long application history Indonesia.
